For seniors who seek greater mobility and comfort at home, as well as peace of mind and confidence all day or all night, we are giving away a Stander security pole and grab bar and a case of NASA-inspired Wellness absorbent products as part of our “Helping You Get On With Life” sweepstakes.

A Helping Hand at Home

Part one of the July prize bundle is a Stander security pole and curved grab bar valued at $209.99. The pole extends from floor to ceiling and features a curved grab bar to lend a helping hand while standing or sitting. Its slim design fits in tight spaces, such as between a tub and toilet or next to a bed, sofa or chair. The tension-mounted mobility and independence tool requires no tools or installation yet can be permanently installed using included hardware.

Long-Wearing Comfort

Part two of the prize is a case of 60 Wellness Briefs or 72 Wellness Pull-On Underwear by Unique Wellness. Both products are inspired by the superabsorbent adult diapers provided to astronauts during space shuttle missions. In creating maximum-absorbency garments for space shuttle missions, NASA developed a polymer capable of absorbing up to 60 times its own volume. Using this technology, Unique Wellness created these products to be a drier, healthier, more environmentally friendly option.

Both the brief with side tapes and the pull-on style underwear only need changing every eight to 12 hours, making them ideal for travel, overnight use and discreet daytime wear. With only three changes needed per day, vs. seven with ordinary briefs, the Wellness product can be more cost-effective, require less caregiver attention and reduce landfill waste.
