Plantar Fasciitis: A Simple Tool to Help

Commonly referred to as heel spurs, current studies support that the pain comes from the soft tissue structure called the plantar fascia.

Tightness in this band and the attached structures (the calf most notably) lead to microtears in the area where the band attached to the heel most commonly.
Conservative measures should always be considered for months prior to surgery due to the high success. Traditional surgery can lead to other problems (fallen arch syndrome, joint pain and arthritis) and should be the last resort.

The most common conservative treatment is stretching. Stretching the plantar fascia and the calf are both effective at decreasing your time to healing. The Peddler’s patented design can be used as a stretch enhancer of both the calf and plantar fascia for treatment of plantar fasciitis. Using the traditional method at a desk will help relieve your start up pain as well. Consider the Peddler as part of your daily routine for plantar fasciitis.
