Vibroacoustic Therapy- a new way to reduce pain, stress, anxiety and insomnia. |
Being a caregiver to a loved one takes a lot of energy - physical and emotional
Do you take care of your ageless mother?
Do you take care of your husband who is in advanced stage of Parkinson?
Do you take care of your autistic son?
You know all too well that caregivers are “the silent crowd”. Too busy running your life, your home, your business and taking care of loved ones, nonstop.
Caregivers are not free people – by will, they dedicate their “free time” to their loved ones.
Many face moral questions such as; how to help without taking over. How to explore together ways of getting better, instead of imposing your way and taking dominance by thinking that you know the best, of what is good for the one you are treating.
Getting into automatic ways of thinking, make things easier. Automatic behavior based on science and protocols, allows less emotional involvement in decision-making. However, there may be a dilemma here– when we have a fresh mind, and respect the person we care for, as a partner to the success of the treatment; we may also drain our energies, because we are more attentive, and sensitive. Yet, the personalized way, may be more effective in the healing, recovery and reaching better results of wellness and wellbeing.
As the airlines tell us, put on your oxygen mask first
Remember, the airline security instructions, telling you to put the oxygen mask on yourself first and then, treat your child. Analogically, take care of your energies and vitality first, before treating others. Because when you are stressed and exhausted, when you can’t sleep at night, and you are depressed, your perception is not clear and you don’t have enough vitality to treating others.
Have a massage therapy, have a healing therapy. Have an inspiring conversation with someone that will reduce stress, give you a hug, recharge your energies and not be judgmental, but provide you with insights that will let you grow and empower you.
They may be your secret therapist, a good friend, or a healer someone recommended. The bottom line – let go… be humble… understand the limitation of your personal energies and the need to recharge vitality and maintain your bodymindspirit , daily.
Treating yourself, will enable to get back to a mode of being a listener, an observer and a mindful and heartful facilitator, to the person you treat. Once you respect him/her as a person that together, you explore and find a solution that is good for his authentic being, love and appreciation will manifest beyond words. You will grow as s/he grows. You will be inspired, as s/he will. Satisfaction from seeing the result in his/her wellness progress, will bring you happiness and joy.
