New Automatic Shipment Invention Now Being Offered for Licensing to Ecommerce Businesses
The CareGiver Partnership, a national direct-to-consumer
retailer of home healthcare products is expanding its patent-pending Never Run
Out™ automatically scheduled delivery service. The invention, which provides an
easier, more personalized way to select quantity and frequency of product
delivery, is adding licensees and mobile access.
Convenient delivery... simplified |
After applying consumer research and insight to develop a
unique process for scheduling automatically delivery of consumer products, The
CareGiver Partnership is licensing use of its patent-pending Never Run Out™
process to other online retailers. In addition, the company is developing a
mobile application for the iOS and Android platforms in response to its
customers’ access preferences.
The CareGiver Partnership developed Never Run Out™, a method
of matching consumer consumption with shipping unit amounts, to address
consumers’ reluctance to take advantage of such services with other retailers,
like Amazon and Wal-Mart.
“We learned the primary reason consumers weren’t taking
advantage of this service was they didn’t know how often to schedule a
delivery,” says Tom Wilson, founder of The CareGiver Partnership and
co-inventor of the automatic delivery service. “Because personal usage varies
and products are sold in different counts, some customers were reluctant to sign
up.”
Wilson’s five-year-old company found a solution: Ask a
customer questions, then address them programmatically using an algorithm that
precisely matches usage with a specific stock-keeping unit. Consumers now can
schedule quantities in a delivery unit and shipping frequency based on their
individual usage patterns. Customers, who frequently access the service from
their mobile devices, soon can download an application that will make it easy
to manage the delivery process, pause recurring orders and modify payment
methods while on the go.
The CareGiver Partnership solution, which has increased its
customers’ participation in automatic deliveries by 88 percent since
implementation, applies to any consumer product, commodity or service in any
industry where automatic shipment benefits the end user. Examples include home
delivery of diapers or pet food, or business applications such as cleaning
supplies and light bulbs. “We are in discussion with other online retailers wishing to
license and implement our invention.”
“This tool provides a valuable convenience to consumers, and
we are in discussion with other online retailers wishing to license and
implement our invention,” says Wilson.

I didn't get exactly what is going to be happen, is it car shipping service transferring whole of its service to E-commerce or you are talking some thing different..?
Dear 'Car Transport',
In looking at the original headline from your perspective, I realized it was not clear 'auto ship'. We've now changed it to: New Automatic Shipment Invention Now Being Offered for Licensing to Ecommerce Businesses.
I hope this clears up any confusion.
